Namaste! I'm Manasa (Lakshmi Manasa Samudrala), a Yoga Australia registered teacher and Therapeutic Yoga Practitioner, based in Adelaide, South Australia.

Before coming to yoga, I worked as a Customer Service Agent in banking and a Data Officer in healthcare. While both had their place, neither gave me the satisfaction that yoga did. That calling was impossible to ignore, and I chose to follow it wholeheartedly.

My yoga journey began in 2018 as a student, seeking healing for my own health. I experienced PCOS, hormonal imbalance, infertility and knee pain. Through consistent yogic practices, I was able to manage my symptoms and improve my overall wellbeing. The principles of Vedanta personally helped me through the depression I experienced due to infertility. This transformation inspired me to deepen my practice and share yoga with others.

I completed my Teacher Training Course (TTC) at the Sivananda Ashram for Yoga and Vedanta in Kerala, India, and later my Advanced Teachers Training Course (ATTC) at Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Meenakshi Ashram, India. Both programs are rooted in the tradition of teaching yoga as a complete lifestyle. My teaching is guided by the five core principles of Sivananda Yoga: proper exercise (asana), proper breathing (pranayama), proper relaxation, proper diet, and positive thinking with meditation.

I also pursued Therapeutic Yoga Training, which helped me understand chronic health conditions and how yoga can support managing symptoms and improving overall health in a holistic way.

My classes are calm, structured, and accessible, with a focus on alignment, breath awareness, and mindful movement. I aim to create a supportive space where students can reconnect with their bodies, build strength, and experience the deeper benefits of yoga.

If you are ready to begin or deepen your yoga journey, I would love to welcome you to class.
